GORILLA TRACKS

Up on the Bay of Fundy in Canada there is a camp ground called ''Five Islands'' If you are ever in the area I strongly advise you to stay there and watch the ''changing of the tide'' which can be as much as 55 feet in height. Get a campsight that is water front and it is worth your time just see the tide change. We stayed there for a few days and I fished the ''inlet'' and caught some nice stripe bass on the incoming tide. The campground has several perminant set up trailers in it and the owners have built porches and sun decks on the side of them. Most of them are kinda small but they are set up nice. Early one morning I had the occasion to take Gus ''the wonder dog'' for his morning walk and sniff around for gorilla tracks. It was kinda of a cool morning but it promised to be a beautiful day. Gus did his ''amble'' here and yonder sniffing and tinkling and looking around. We went up into the perminant set up trailers and wandered around. We were walking down beside a trailer when the door to the sundeck eased open. We were located back and kinda to the side and the young lady that peeked out did not see us because we were in a shadow and she was in the bright sun light. She stepped out onto the sundeck with a cup of coffee and a ''ciggie'' and walked over to the rail and leaned against it. She sat her cup of coffee on the rail and did another ''look around'' as she toaked her ''ciggie''. Me and Gus had stopped in the shadow of her house and were just observing from probably twenty feet away. It promised to be a glorious day with the sun streaming into her face. Did I mention she was wearing a night gown that was slightly thicker than onion skin paper as the sunlight streamed thru it. With the angle of the sun and the brightness of the sun and where I was standing with the sun in her face and her shadow steaming across the sun deck toward me she made a ''perfect picture'' to please any mans eyes. She was maybe twenty five and in full bloom of womanhood. Me and Gus stood very quietly as not to disturb her. She laid her ''ciggie'' on the rail next to her steaming cup of coffee and did one of those ''tip toe stretches'' where you put your hands over your head and clasp your palms together and stand on your toes and ''reach for the sky''.. Damn she looked good. Everything where it should be and in all the right proportions. She did not know there was anyone in the world except her and the morning sun. As she relaxed from her stretch she reached for her coffee and ''ciggie'' and kinda leaned on the rail still looking around in front of her. I started feeling guilty and I didnt want to frighten her so I calmly said …...''G'mornin' mam,,,,,,, Nice day aint it''
In a slow motion turn she turned her head to face me. She froze for maybe three seconds and then she dropped her coffee cup, grabbed her gown and crammed it between her legs and dropped her ''ciggie'' and literally ''ran thru the door'' and slammed it behind her. Later that morning I was walking up to go fishing and she was setting on the sun deck. I walked past and smiled and mentioned that the ''Day sure turned out pretty and I really loved the ''VIEW'' up here at Five Islands early in the morning''......... She blushed and smiled and I smiled and I went fishing and caught a couple of stripe bass for supper.
Guss and I just love our morning walks to look for gorilla tracks.
So it went in Nova Scotia.......
Seajay and Gus, out walkin
